Many years ago - probably after shopping for a Hawaiian shirt for some luau party - Jim wondered aloud, “If there are Aloha shirts, why aren’t there Howdy shirts?”

Of course, we said, “we should do that!” But, as with many “Aha” moments, life happens and the idea was left in limbo. Lucky for us, ideas just know when to come to life.

From their origin in the 1920s, the Aloha shirt was a symbol of a way of life that people here on the “mainland” longed for. Such is the lifestyle of the American West – a way of life that is often idolized.

We’ve lived in and traveled to most states across the country. We have seen a nation of explorers, trailblazers, creators, philosophers, trendsetters, leaders…free thinkers.

What better time than now to remind ourselves that the frontier spirit lives? So, we say,

HOWDY AMERICA!
